Researched other communities that have amphitheaters. Other communities, rent these out for wedding. This could be a potential opportunity for us.
Looking to potentially hold an event at the amphitheater (youth event)
A group has contacted to use the facility for theater performances.
Showcase: local retail, hospitality, food, drinks, etc.
The team is conducting more research.
Reach out to the theater company and gauge their interest in utiling the facility.

Met with the MU Rolla students. The students are supposed to pick their projects/assignments in early September. Three students have chosen to work on our Trail Project.

Hosted roundtable August 13. Activities are slow because of COVID
Will speak with Tyler about next steps. Team leaders will meet to discuss how to produce business directory.
Need to prep materials (hard copy and electronic) to hand out to potential participants. Create business directory for city.
September 2020
Have met as a team and reviewed information related to a business directory. The team is looking to see how the chamber may be able to support this initiative. The team could create an online and a physical directory.
Need to make a decision on how to proceed forward with this project. The team has sample materials from the vendor. Chamber will conduct a survey to gather feedback from the local businesses.
Need volunteers to act as ambassadors who can speak to the benefits of being in Hermann.

Team met and discussed our attempt to have an information table at one of CORTEX session at the Venture Cafe.
1. Identified “Live Hermann” promotional backup with an insert highlighting the GRO Project.
2. Video Loop for the Promotional Table. We have access to two videos.
3. Table covering located.
4. Badges for representatives with Hermann Logo.
5. Volunteer base identified as potential representatives.
Pending COVID results we would hope to to do this in person. May need to try and develop a “Virtual” Venture Cafe and try and attract young professionals.
Help may be needed in developing a virtual concept of the Venture Cafe.
We are dependent on the Housing Study and Business Directory in accomplishing this goal.
Locations to attack. School district teacher recruitment was suggested as well as MRPC.
Need approximately $1000 budget/
